Glitter Slime was ALL the rage this summer. Everyone I knew was posting pictures of their kids making it. There were commercials on TV for it. My kids were obsessed with watching YouTube videos of it. Madness I tell ya! Buuut I caved and of course we made our own. It was actually super quick and easy and the best part…it really doesn’t make much of a mess. Check it out!
What you’ll need:
Mixing bowl
Spoon
6 fl. oz. of Elmer’s glitter glue
1/2 tbsp. of baking soda
1 1/2 tbsp. of contact lens solution
Directions:
- Pour out the entire bottle of the glitter glue into bowl
- Add 1/2 tbsp. of baking soda and mix
- Add 1 tbsp. of contact solution
- Mix together until the slime begins to form and harden up
- Once all ingredients are mixed in use hands to knead and stretch the slime
- If needed, add more contact solution (about 1/4 tbsp) to make the slim less sticky
- Enjoy!
